Debris Piles and Debris Collection Reminders

Vegetative Storm Debris should be stacked at designated SPCSA neighborhood debris pickup sites. Sea Pines CSA can only remove debris from designated SPCSA pickup sites.

  • If the debris site is full, do not block roads, driveways, or create traffic visibility hazards. DO NOT place trash in debris pickup piles.
  • DO NOT pile any storm debris in roadside ditches, block the pipe ends with debris in ditches, or stack on catch basins/inlets.
  • Commercial landscapers are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines.
  • Landscape companies are directed to transport debris to the Debris Recycling Facility. Please note: This facility does not have the ability to process material in a diameter of 6 inches and above.

To enhance visibility, we have upgraded the vehicle wrapping and branding for our Sea Pines Security patrol vehicles. Starting this month, the community will notice a few of our patrol vehicles with a new, prominent design. Sea Pines Forest Preserve Land Management Program: New Meadow Habitat

We are thrilled to share the news about the reclamation of a former soil storage site in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve and transforming it into a new meadow habitat. This project will involve several key steps, including the removal of existing understory, debris removal, ground leveling and grading, soil preparation and vegetative monitoring for one to two growing seasons. These efforts are part of our comprehensive land management plan, aimed at improving and increasing the ecological value of our preserve. The new meadow habitat will not only enhance the beauty of our natural surroundings but also provide essential benefits for local wildlife and plant species. We look forward to keeping you updated throughout this ecological transformation.
