Hours for Commercial Work in Sea Pines
- Vehicles with commercial decals are permitted in Sea Pines only during the following days and times: Monday-Saturday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Exceptions to this are made when exigent
circumstances exist and must be approved by Sea Pines Security (843) 671-7170. - Vehicles with commercial decals or commercial passes are not permitted in Sea Pines on the following days: Sundays, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. This restriction does not apply to pool companies, housekeeping companies and deliveries to commercial entities. - Commercial decals that permit 24hr access into Sea Pines can only be issued to select businesses approved by the Director of Safety and Security i.e., fishing charters, pool companies and residential and commercial maintenance.
Outdoor Power Equipment Blower Noise Policy (6.3 Community Standards Rules & Regulations)
Blower Noise Levels: Any individual or entity engaged in landscape maintenance or cleanup or removal for hire shall not utilize commercial grade leaf blower equipment unless such equipment has been rated by the manufacturer specifications (per American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”) Standards B175.2-2000 (R2005):
- Effective January 1, 2023, maximum of 75 dBA or less.
- Effective January 1, 2026, maximum of 65 dBA or less.
Exemptions: This shall not apply to landscape maintenance or cleanup on the following: a. Golf courses; b.Tennis facilities; c. Stables; d. Leisure trails; e. Commercial Parking Areas or common areas owned by Commercial Owners; f. Road rights of way; g. Any Residential Property for purposes of cleanup only, following a named tropical storm, hurricane, or other major storm as declared by Sea Pines CSA, that directly affects Sea Pines; h. Open space and lands managed or owned by Sea Pines CSA.
Compliance: Any individual or entity engaged in landscape maintenance or cleanup or removal for hire shall attest to compliance with these requirements as a condition to secure permit for access into Sea Pines to perform such services in Sea Pines. False attestation of compliance with the requirements of Paragraph 1 may result revocation of gate privileges.
Debris Collection and Removal Policies
All landscape and yard maintenance companies are responsible for removing yard debris from the areas they provide service.
- Landscape companies are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the Sea Pines CSA neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines.
- Landscape companies are directed to transport debris removed from within Sea Pines to the Debris Recycling Facility (1 Pit Road). Please note: This facility does not have the ability to process material in a diameter of 6 inches and above.
Sea Pines Security may suspend or revoke any decal(s) due to the failure of the person issued the decal(s) to honor or abide by Sea Pines policies, procedures, rules or regulations.
