Beach Shuttle Service Begins March 22

Beach shuttle service from Lot 8 (Located off Greenwood Drive near Willow Oak Road West) to The Sea Pines Beach Club will operate daily from 9 AM- 5 PM, weather permitting, during the below timeframes:

  • March 22 – April 13
  • April 21 – September 1

Recommended Steps for Reporting Short-Term Rental Concerns

Recently, the Town of Hilton Head Island sent out a reminder on how to report short-term rental issues. Below are the suggested steps Sea Pines property owners should take when encountering a concern involving a short-term rental:

  1. Contact Sea Pines CSA First: To report an urgent issue, such as noise or parking, please contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170. They are available 24/7/365 and can assist in resolving the concern quickly. Community Standard violation concerns may be submitted online here.
  2. File a Complaint with the Town of Hilton Head Island: In addition to contacting Sea Pines CSA, you should also report the complaint to the Town by calling their STR Nuisance Hotline at 843.341.6864.

This approach enables Sea Pines CSA to address the concern promptly while also establishing a documented record with the Town, should further actions be required under their Short-Term Rental Ordinance program.


Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office Seasonal Hours End March 26

Beginning Wednesday, March 26, the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office, located at 32 Greenwood Drive, will resume the following operating hours:

  • Open Daily from 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Maintenance Projects & Services

Roadway Maintenance: The refreshing of thermoplastic line striping and stop bars on select roadways throughout the community is in progress (pictured).

Roadside Tree Trimming: Along Plantation Drive from Stoney Baynard Ruins to Lighthouse Road is in progress and will continue through next week.

Stormwater Maintenance: Sediment removal at the end of a drainage pipe on North Sea Pines Drive, across from Beach Lagoon Road, is in progress and will continue through next week.

Electric Line Boring: Boring operations under the road at the Greenwood Gate are scheduled for Tuesday morning, March 25. During this time, traffic will be restricted to one lane. The work is anticipated to start at 7:00 AM and last for approximately 2-3 hours. Following this, boring will take place at the intersection of Lighthouse Road and North Sea Pines Drive. Boring will then will take place on Brown Pelican Road to restore electricity to the leisure trail bollard lights.
